The Confederation of African Football has released its ticket sales from countries outside of the continent in the first and second phase of sales, with a whopping 134 301 tickets being bought in Europe.

The vast majority of tickets have been purchased in France, with 109 237 tickets being bought. Belgium sits in second with 7046 tickets purchased, followed by the Netherlands with 5958.

Also included in the top 10 nations to have purchased tickets outside of the continent are the United Kingdom (5127), Canada (3849) Germany (3056), Switzerland (1714), the United States of America (1245), Spain (1193) and Italy (970).

The tournament kicks-off in Morocco on 21 December with games taking place in nine stadiums across six host cities.

The country welcomed 13.5 million tourists from January until the end of August 2025, which represents a 15% increase compared to the same period last year. This is according to the nation’s Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy.

As the ticket sales illustrate, the desire to experience and be a part of the continent’s most celebrated tournament extends well beyond its borders.

“The enthusiasm extends far beyond the continent, with supporters eager to be part of one of the world’s most celebrated football spectacles,” says a statement released by CAFonline.com.
