The Sunset Lodge consists of three semi-detached one bedroom chalets. Each one boasts magnificent lake and mountain views from the lounge and bedroom. The sunsets here are amazing in the Drakensberg, with game wandering around your deck from early morning to late at night and the sounds of frogs in chorus singing out from the lake at night, accompanied by crickets and owls on occasion.
Things to Do During Your Stay

Sani Valley doesn’t have the big five, but you will be able to walk among the zebra, red hartebeest, blesbuck, eland, springbok and many other antelope within its well-stocked boundary fence. Sani Valley offers some of best game viewing and bird watching in the Drakensburg region.
The Area
The tight zig-zagging curves of Sani Pass, one of the most magnificent mountain passes in South Africa, ascend through the sheer cliffs of the Drakensberg. The views from the peaks, some 3200 metres above sea level, are spectacular and usually reserved only for those willing to hike for a couple of days.
A pub, renowned as the highest in the world, lies at the top of Sani – 2874 metres above sea level. There are also horse trails, canopy tours, white water rafting, abseiling, local arts and crafts or simply ‘taking the air’ for those with little other than repose in mind.

- The prize is valid until 31 January 2023, and cannot be redeemed in peak season, on public holidays or long weekends, and is subject to availability.
