On the July 3 episode of MBC’s “How Do You Play?”, actress Jeon Yeo Been made a special appearance to star in MSG Wannabe’s music video.

Created by Yoo Jae Suk on “How Do You Play?”, MSG Wannabe is a project group inspired by the popular vocal trio SG Wannabe. There are two units, M.O.M (Parc Jae Jung, Ji Suk Jin, Wonstein, and KCM) and JSDK (Kim Jung Min, Lee Dong Hwi, Lee Sang Yi, and Simon Dominic). Their new songs, “Foolish Love” and “Only You,” have been sweeping music charts since their release.

During the episode, Jeon Yeo Been shared, “I want to do the music video. I asked Lee Dong Hwi if he could give me the chance to appear in it.” Yoo Jae Suk explained that this wasn’t a typical music video and said, “It seems a bit wrong to call it a ‘short music video.’” Jeon Yeo Been suggested the name “petit MV,” which stuck.

After Yoo Jae Suk showed her the two songs, he said, “We’re going to finish filming the music video in two hours. There’s no location changes or costume changes. We’re going to film both songs at once. Both music videos are about things that happen in the same place.”

Yoo Jae Suk then introduced Jeon Yeo Been to the MSG Wannabe members in a small party room, which was the set for the music video filming. He cast Lee Sang Yi and Parc Jae Jung as the male leads of the music video and joked, “There are too many people here today. I think one or two of us should leave,” while staring hard at Ji Suk Jin. Lee Dong Hwi was in charge of directing the music video, and KCM asked him, “Is there a single cut with us in it?”

The music video’s plot is that Lee Sang Yi reveals to his friends at the party that he’s dating Jeon Yeo Been (“Only You”), whom Parc Jae Jung has a one-sided crush on (“Foolish Love”). As Yoo Jae Suk and the other members watched the three artists act out the scene, they said, “It feels like we’re watching a youth drama.” After a hug scene, Lee Sang Yi said, “We met for the first time today, so I was surprised by the hug.”

The rest of the episode focused on MSG Wannabe recording their upcoming full group song, which is being produced by Rocoberry.
