We decided to put together our most popular tour packages, to give you an idea on the different possibilities and how best to make the most of your trip here.

Many visit the country to go on a safari, some to climb Kilimanjaro, and others to relax by the beach. But what if you could combine these and do them all in just one trip?

Here are our top 3 packaged holidays in Tanzania:

Kilimanjaro Safari Zanzibar:

This 18-day tour may need more time, but it is worth every penny! The essence of Tanzania can be experienced with this package. Discover the large plains of the African Savannah, the world-class beaches of Zanzibar and the mighty rooftop of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro.

The journey starts in Moshi, where you conquer Kilimanjaro first via the Machame route. This is just the beginning, so keep your energy reserved! After about a week on Mount Kilimanjaro, the adventure then proceeds to Lake Manyara National Park. Here, you will witness outstanding landscapes and wildlife. And just a day later is the drive to Serengeti National Park. This park is exceptional in many ways – learn about this park here. Thereafter you visit the famous Ngorongoro Crater. After all the adventure must come relaxation- that is why the last but not the least, is the beach! You end your journey here, ready and recuperated to go back home.

Safari Zanzibar:

This two-week package is less time-demanding. And it may appeal to those who may not feel ready mentally or physically to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. So if you’re looking to have a good time, see animals, explore the Savannah landscapes and swim in the ocean, this package is perfect for you! Expect to spend some time at Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park. After about a week of safari adventure, proceed to Zanzibar to discover ancient history, spices, culture and beaches!

Kilimanjaro Zanzibar:

Ok, we know some of us are mountain enthusiasts and want to conquer every peak in the world. So you simply cannot skip Kilimanjaro, can you? This package is also great for those limited on time. Just a mere 11 days will give you an experience to remember. Kilimanjaro Zanzibar offers the best of both worlds- the peak of a mountain and then a world-class beach.

This route will also be the Machame route. We like this route because it offers gorgeous views. One you complete Kilimanjaro, you head straight to the beach! This is why this package is so likeable. After a long tiring hike, you get to swim by the ocean and sip on cocktails. Come on, this is a sweet deal!

The options do not end here. Viva Africa Tours can tailor-make packages to suit your needs.
