Directed by Fonz Bernard, the music video for “Minerals” comes from comes from Jourden’s debut EP Straight, No Chase – click HERE to listen. The music video was shot in New York and includes a special guest appearance from GRAMMY-winning producer CARDOGOTWINGS, who also produced “Minerals.” The music video was shot at the Williamsburg Bridge in New York. The 90s styled music video works to spotlight the energy of the song through the use and stature of her hometown of Brooklyn, NY; through the iconic bridge, skyscrapers in the background, the bodega, and the city lights, viewers witness the city as part of the minerals that make up Jourden.
Earlier this year, Jourden released her debut EP Straight No Chase via RCA Records. The 7-track EP includes the previously released and indelible “Flow” along with single, “Tryin’ To Play Me. Straight No Chase explores Jourden’s growing mastery of her flow and style.
