Lagos Fashion Week 2024 was a feast for the eyes. The four-day event captivated fashion enthusiasts with stunning runway shows, showcasing the exceptional talent and creativity of African designers. From October 23rd to 27th, the city buzzed with excitement as designers gathered to display the latest trends and innovative fusions. The runway was ablaze with…

Lagos Fashion Week 2024 was a feast for the eyes. The four-day event captivated fashion enthusiasts with stunning runway shows, showcasing the exceptional talent and creativity of African designers. From October 23rd to 27th, the city buzzed with excitement as designers gathered to display the latest trends and innovative fusions.

The runway was ablaze with vibrant colours, intricate patterns, and bold silhouettes. Designers like Ugo Monye, LFJ, MOT the Label, Oshobor, Dust of the Earth, Bornstar Nigeria, Pettre Taylor, The Ladymaker, Ibilola Ogundipe, Rendoll, Lady Biba, Kente Gentleman, Kilentar, Wote Ki, Orire, Iremitide, Imad Eduso, Ajabeng Ghana, Maliko, NYA, Lush Hair, Viva Jets, amongst others, presented collections that seamlessly blended traditional African aesthetics with contemporary influences.
Celebrities like Davido and Tacha also walked the runway. The headline sponsor, Heineken, also presented a few collections in collaboration with select designers.

Many of these designs infused sustainable materials and fabrics to create pieces that stand out in the international fashion scene. The audience revelled in the extraordinary innovation and artistry.
Lagos Fashion Week showcased the incredible talent of African designers and highlighted the growing influence of African fashion on the global stage, with trends uniquely fused to embody each designer’s style. Take a look at some of the designs that turned heads at LFW 2024.
