T
he saying “We Outside” evokes thoughts of fancy clothing and an overall glammed up demeanor where all parties involved are dedicated to revenging months of lockdown with elegant outfits in all its enthralling glory. Last week, the best dressed stars paraded in alluring custom pieces such that blasé was far from the reactions they commanded.

The looks
A princess and more is the best way to describe the beautiful Halley Bailey in her beguiling ball gown by Elie Saab. The artiste performed “can you feel the love tonight” at Disney’s The Most Magical Story On Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World on ABC network and it was a slice of magic from her appearance to sonorous voice, a fairy tale experience in its rights.
At the La Mode Magazine‘s independence day event, Nigerian actress Lilian Afegbai arrived in an Erica Moore high slit number with exaggerated sleeves — the highlight of the entire look that evoked a charismatic appeal. The actress bagged an award and our admiration in a way only a boss babe can. In view of true go-getters Mercy Eke served hot in a rich encrusted dress by Tubo for her 28th birthday celebration and per usual, she nailed it. For the multimedia personality and business woman, this seems to be the year of securing the bag as well as the style chart and she’s not loosening the reins on any.

The styles shared by Black celebs and top fashion influencers last week were nothing short of chic, edgy, and glamorous and it’s safe to say that we are, as usual, living vicariously through them. Black style queens.
