On Friday, 19 July 2024, the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town was abuzz with excitement as it hosted the inaugural Rhino Connect event. As part of Rhino Africa’s 20-year anniversary celebrations, this event marked a significant milestone in the African travel and tourism industry. The event was honoured to have the Mayor of Cape Town, Geordin Hill-Lewis, who warmly welcomed attendees and emphasised the crucial role of tourism in bolstering both the local and national economy. His speech lauded the resilience of the industry and its remarkable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

David Ryan was one of many inspiring speakers at Rhino Connect.
