Zambia coach Aljosa Asanovic is going to use a couple of local exhibition games to pick his domestic league players for this month’s friendlies against South Africa and Guinea.
Chipolopolo will travel to Paris, France to play Bafana Bafana on March 25 and Guinea on March 29.
“The coaches are looking at the local players that they will use for the forthcoming assignments. Two All Stars versus The Rest games will be held on the Copperbelt and Lusaka,” FAZ President Andrew Kamanga said.
“The two regions will just be converging points with players from surrounding provinces camped in either centre.
“Coach Aljosa Asanovic and his technical bench have been doing a lot of work in the background to put together a strong squad that will help the Chipolopolo rebound.”
The two Paris friendlies will mark the start of Asanovic’s reign following his appointment in January on a four-year deal.
