Nature walks in the forest:Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in southwestern Uganda and is known for its population of mountain gorillas. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most biologically diverse areas in Africa.

The Government of Uganda ensure safety and security in mountain gorillas and this explains why park’s strict regulations ensure the protection of the gorillas and limit the number of visitors allowed to trek each day.

Aside from  this a truly exclusive and unforgettable experience. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is also home to a diverse array of other wildlife, including chimpanzees, baboons, elephants, and over 350 species of birds and a stunning natural bueaty that cannot be compared at all.

If you’re interested in birdwatching, the wetter months of March to May and October to November are great times to visit as migratory bird species are present in the park during these periods. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in southwestern Uganda and can be accessed by both road and air. Here are some options for accessing the park:

1.By Road:

From Kampala: The most common route is to drive from Kampala to Bwindi, which takes around 9-10 hours depending on the route taken. The main roads leading to Bwindi are well-maintained, but some sections may be rough or unpaved.

From Kigali, Rwanda: Bwindi National Park can also be accessed from Kigali, Rwanda, which is approximately a 4–5-hour drive to the southern sector of the park.

2. By Air:

Fly to either Entebbe International Airport or Kigali International Airport and then take a connecting flight to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip near Bwindi. From there, you can arrange for ground transportation to the park.
