The prize includes a two night break away for two guests in an eco pod. The prize includes all meals and two daily game drives. All drives include a selection of snacks, teas, coffees, hot chocolate, water and sundowners.

Mount Camdeboo Pods are each furnished with a luxurious Queen-size bed that looks out onto the Camdeboo Plains. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. There is a kitchenette with basic facilities, a deck outside with a table and chairs and a romantic hot tub, making this a perfect spot for a romantic stay.

Things to Do During Your Stay

The reserve offers a host of activities, from game drives and guided bush walks, to cheetah tracking, star gazing and Anglo Boer War talks at an historic site on the reserve. Situated in a malaria-free area, it is the ideal option for a getaway. The reserve further affords guests easy access to a range of attractions as it is set in proximity to the historical town of Graaff-Reinet, Nieu Bethesda and the breathtaking Valley of Desolation.

About Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve

The reserve is home to white rhino, Cape buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, mountain zebra, a host of antelope, newly re-introduced lions (the first time Mount Camdeboo has had lions in 180 years) and an abundance of birds and unique Cape flora.

Experience incredible open landscapes in this 19 000 ha park.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • The competition closes on Friday 19 November 2021 and the winner will be announced on Facebook and Instagram on Monday 22nd November 2021.
  • The prize is valid between February and May 2022 only, and cannot be redeemed in peak season, on public holidays or long weekends, and is subject to availability.
  • The prize is for up to two guests sharing one of the Mount Camdeboo Pods on a full board basis (alcoholic beverages are excluded).
  • Winners must arrange and cover the cost of their transport to and from the Mount Camdeboo Pods
  • Winners must be 18 years or older.
  • The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • The competition is open to all except employees of SA-Venues.com, Mount Camdeboo Pods, Newmark Hotels, their families and advertising agencies.
  • Decision of judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • You may enter as many times as you like but the winner will be chosen by lucky draw.
  • If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of being notified of being the winner, you will forfeit the prize and another winner will be chosen.
  • If the winner has not adhered to all the rules and regulations of this competition, another winner will be chosen.
