    Tunisia: Tourism Revenues Down 34 Percent As of June 20 (Bct)

    Tunis/Tunisia — Cumulative tourism revenues fell by 34%, to 706 million dinars (MD) until June 20, compared to the same date of the previous year, according to the monetary and financial figures released by the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) Friday.

    Likewise, cumulative foreign debt servicing went down 28% to 3.5 billion dinars, on the same date.

    On the other hand, cumulative labor income reached 2.8 billion dinars, posting an increase of 25%, compared to the same period of last year.

    As for net foreign exchange reserves, they grew slightly by 3.8%, as of June 25, to nearly 21.5 billion dinars, which represents 141 days of imports.

    Regarding the overall refin + ancing volume, it fell by 24%, to not more than 7.1 billion dinars.
