Many chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys and Bates’s pygmy antelopes can be found here. The forest is famous for its rewarding nature walks and Hiking. The activities can last for half a day. Bundongo Forest: This is found in the way to Murchison falls National Park. It has many attractions and the main activity here is chimpanzee Tracking. Mabira Forest: The forest is near Kampala/ Entebbe, it’s a half day drive. It is located between Lugazi and Jinja. It is a home to many endangered species. Activities done here include, birding, nature walks, Zip lining and etc. On the nature walk through the forest, expect to see grey cheeked mangabey, bush babies, squirrels, antelopes, red tailed monkey and etc. The forest has natural trees and medicinal plants.
