Are you planning your next dream family holiday? We specialise in family friendly safaris and tour packages in Africa. If you want to travel to Victoria Falls with kids, then you’ll love the incredible, family-friendly packages that we’re curated especially for families. It’s also handy to know that our family-friendly safari packages include broad travel insurance and 24/7 support, so we’ll always have someone on standby if your children have any sort of emergencies that need to be tended to.

Take the kids to Victoria Falls!

One of our favourite family friendly safari packages in Zimbabwe is definitely the “Victoria Falls & Hwange Safari”. This tour is jam-packed with action and adventures to keep the little ones enthralled so the adults can truly unwind and experience the best of Zimbabwe. The trip starts and ends in Victoria Falls and includes highlights like a guided safari in the incredible Hwange National Park with kids, a stay at our gorgeous Elephant’s Eye tented camp – the best family friendly accommodation in Zimbabwe! Your children will also love the magical sunset cruise on the Zambezi river – to name just a few!

Family Friendly Safari to Kruger and Mozambique

Another one of our favourite family friendly safari packages is our Kruger and Mozambique Safari and Beach travel package. This holiday experience is tailor-made by our expert travel agents to ensure that you see the very best in this family and child-friendly Kruger travel deal. You’ll also spend time in Mozambique, which is well known for water sports and fishing – perfect for the little ones!

We can also offer accommodation in the Kruger for kids of all ages. Some of our lodges even offer Junior Ranger programs with kid’s activities such as tracking animals, learning bush survival skills and even bush cooking! Some of our lodges also offer babysitting services if you truly want a bush and safari holiday that caters for kids.

Go on a family road trip along the Garden Route

Spend 6 days discovering South Africa’s famous Garden Route with your children. This self-drive package consists of a carefully curated itinerary with families in mind. You’ll drive from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth and experience incredible, fun and adventurous stops, sights and activities along the way! Some highlights on this family-friendly Garden Route trip include The Tsitsikamma Forest; Knysna; Oudsthoorn; The Bloukrans River and even Monkeyland!

The kids will LOVE exploring the Cango Caves, the Monkey Safari at Monkeyland and if they’re true daredevils, they can even bungee jump off the world’s highest bungee-bridge in the world! This promises to be an incredible, fun and memorable holiday for the whole family!

Countries in Africa that are child friendly

We’re passionate about family friendly safaris at Jenman African Safaris! Just a note that some of our destinations do have restrictions on kids or only allow certain age brackets.

Some of our destinations might not allow children under the age of 5 on game vehicles, while other packages have restrictions on kids under the age of 8 years. Some lodges cannot allow children under the age of 12, so it’s best to speak to our extremely friendly and helpful agents for recommendations or customised child friendly African Safari Packages. Note that we also offer child discounts on most of our safaris!

We can’t wait to meet you and your little ones!
