A British Virgin Islands (BVI) court has ruled that Ambrosie Orjiako, a former chairman and co-founder of Seplat Energy Plc, fraudulently concealed assets to evade a $220.3 million debt claim made by Access Bank. Sudanese fleeing the RSF paramilitary’s takeover of the city of El-Fasher on Sunday continue to bring accounts of mass atrocities with them. Hundreds were killed in the fighters’ wresting of the north Darfuri capital from the army, with many of the abuses likely ethnically motivated.
