S
crooge must be having a hard time this year because it’s starting to smell like the holidays already. Everyone — from black celebrities, to style stars, influencers, and even the girl next door — was fired up with spirits high and in equally zhooshed up outfits last week. Think ruffles, winsome prints, bejeweled fabrics, and as expected, sassy high slit numbers.

It’s still November and the fashion scenes are already buzzing with festivity. Queue in high profile award galas, blockbuster movie premieres, and inspiring magazine covers, and these well-fitting attires would be aptly understood.
The looks
Insecure star, Yvonne Orji, walked the black carpet for the House Of Gucci movie premiere in a pink patterned coat and suit set from Rebecca Vallance with matching pink Christian Louboutin pumps. Of course, among the dazzling and colorful attires, a power suit in a soft hue would definitely stand out. Giving the fact that House Of Gucci is a fashion movie, the attendees acing their individual looks didn’t make for a complete surprise.
Still on the above event’s style happenings, was American actress and model Karrueche Tran making style rounds and hitting the bull’s eye. It seemed lately the style fairy godmother sprinkled her dust on the star’s wardrobe because her looks have been nothing but attention worthy. For the premiere of the House of Gucci, Tran embodied a navy blue and purple metallic ruffled Csiriano number that synced perfectly with her petite frame and glowing skin. Letting the dress make all the statement, Trans’ makeup, hairdo and accessories were kept minimal and classy.
British-Nigerian actress, Beverly Naya represented style in a multi-colored co-ord set with a dominant red hue. The two-piece boasts interesting embelishments such as pleats and beaded tassels. With striking tones of yellow, black, blue, and even green, Naya evoked a goddess energy that had us believing, once again, that she was made for these fashun streets.
The styles shared by Black celebrities and top fashion influencers last week were nothing short of chic, edgy, and glamorous and it’s safe to say that we are, as usual, living vicariously through them. Black style queens.
Check out last week’s best fashion moments as seen on stylish Black celebrities and influencers…
