YOU know how it feels when you fall in love. Butterflies in your stomach! You know how it feels when you fall out of it; you’d give almost everything to reignite those sparks.

With your denim clothes, there are over a thousand ways to renew your love experience. You can “hold body” with these five tips:
Frayed Denim | Jadedldn.com
Frayed Edges
For this trick, all you’d need are a pair of scissors, pencil or chalk, a measuring tape and a good cloth washer. It starts from you marking out a length which you’d like to reduce the trouser to, to allow for the new frayed edges. Measure the distance, to ensure you have an even cut on both legs. Using your scissors (or you might experiment with your teeth. Lol), cut from one side to the other. Afterwards, make tiny incisions on the new edges with your razor blades. Use your fingers to stretch the loose threads out a bit. Rub them together gently. Then, throw it into a washer for a quick spin. Voila, your frayed edges are fresh and ready to be rocked!
Released Hem
Apart from its dual-toned style, the most interesting thing about this trick is the aptness of its name. What it requires is basically releasing the hems of your trousers. It’s a perfect fit for boyfriend jeans, skinnies or even flares. Using your Seam Ripper (borrow from your tailors or improvise), remove the stitches that border the hem of your trouser. When you’re done, gently smoothen it and unfold. Iron it too if you have power supply in your area.

Patch Work
If you can add two and two together to make four, then this trick is just a walk out your door. Simply sew different jean square cuts on another jean trouser. Voila! Less is more.
Distressed
Single rips. Multiple rips. You-are-about-to-be-mentally rehabilitated-rip! Whatever rip styles tickle your fancy! Just grab a razor blade and make slightly lengthy incisions on the thigh and knee areas of your jean trousers. Oh, and prepare for verbal assaults if you have conservative folk around you.
Lace Trimmings
This has its own angelic, elegant, old-school vibe. Recycle your old lace materials by inserting some cuts into the hem of your jean trouser. A needle, matching thread with the lace, and some steady hands should do the magic.
