4.1K [articletop] Talk about fumbling the bag! A graphic designer’s dream opportunity came crashing down within hours after A$AP Rocky reportedly slid into his Instagram DMs looking to hire him—only to pull the plug after the private message was shared online. According to screenshots circulating across social media, the rapper and creative entrepreneur reached out to the designer asking about his pricing for brand logo revisions, while also praising his work and expressing admiration for his designs. Overwhelmed by the unexpected celebrity attention, the designer couldn’t contain his excitement and posted a screenshot of the private conversation online, writing:   “I have no words.”   But that celebration didn’t last long. Rocky soon appeared in the comments himself—and he wasn’t impressed. The rapper reportedly described the decision to publicly post the private message as “distasteful” before making it crystal clear that the project was dead, effectively withdrawing the opportunity before any work could begin. The dramatic exchange exploded across social media, dividing opinion almost instantly. Some fans defended the designer, arguing he was simply celebrating what could have been a life-changing career moment after receiving recognition from one of hip-hop’s biggest names. Others insisted Rocky was fully justified, saying that if someone shares a private business enquiry before a working relationship has even begun, it immediately raises concerns about professionalism and client confidentiality.   Importantly, there is no indication that a formal contract or agreement had been signed. The interaction appears to have been an initial business enquiry that ended before any collaboration officially moved forward. One thing’s for sure… In the age of social media, one post can make you famous—but it can also cost you the biggest client of your career.       If you like this follow us on instagram here.
