Group B at the 2025 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will serve up some of the most mouthwatering fixtures during matchday two this week, most notably with Nigeria facing Botswana at the popular Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.
The Super Falcons were at their menacing best during matchday one in Group B this past weekend and managed to see out a 3-0 win against Tunisia at Stade Larbi Zaouli.
Fixed on bagging their 10th WAFCON trophy, famously dubbed ‘Mission X’, Asisat Oshoala, Rinsola Babajide and Chinwendu Ihezuo lead the charge for their nation by getting their names on the scoresheet against the North African outfit.
Elsewhere, Tunisia will take on Algeria at Stade Pere Jego in the other Group B fixture.
While Tunisia walked away with nothing against Nigeria, Algeria kicked off their WAFCON campaign with a 1-0 win against Botswana at Stade Pere Jego last Sunday.
