One thing we can always count on Rihanna to do is to redefine maternity style. The mogul, mama, and fashion icon has been outside in Cannes this week with her bae A$AP Rocky, and once again she reminded the world what it can mean to slay as a mommy-to-be.

Rihanna Wears A Slinky Cutout Dress In Cannes, Showing Off A Modern Maternity Fashion Slay We Love

Caught out and about on a Palm Beach night, Rih Rih looked like a full goddess in a slinky black cutout gown. The one-shoulder design, high slit, and curve-hugging silhouette were bold, beautiful, and totally Rihanna.

She smiled for the cameras and held her bump as she posed.

The Savage Fenty boss’ glam also deserves attention. Because Rihanna’s maternity looks are always complete from head to toe.

She styled her hair soft and loose, with romantic waves falling away from her face. Her makeup was clean but still glam – glowing skin, peachy cheeks, and a nude glossy lip.

A$AP Rocky kept it cool in an oversized trench coat with tonal black layers underneath. Together, he and Rih looked like the flyest parents in the game – and they are.

Rihanna Is The Queen Of Modern Maternity Fashion

Rihanna has always challenged the world’s tired ideas about how women should dress when pregnant. No oversized florals or shapeless silhouettes here. She’s baring belly, showing leg, embracing sheer fabrics, and rocking fashion that celebrates her figure at every stage of motherhood.

We are here for it all.

And let’s not forget the other standout moments. Rihanna’s white Valentino look from the 2023 Met Gala was simply legendary. Her maternity slays in designer campaigns like Louis Vuitton are inspirational.

And her Savage Fenty lingerie maternity moments hit every single time.

Rihanna exemplifies the meaning of taking up space at every step of pre-motherhood. (And her adorable baby bumps do too.)

Her latest Cannes appearance just adds to the timeline of iconic, bump-forward fashion moments that continue to break the internet. Rihanna’s baby bump fashion era is here, and she is just getting started.
