A Premier Formula 1 Viewing Experience Launches in the Heart of NairobiThis past weekend, Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence Nairobi Arboretum officially launched its highly anticipated Formula 1 Watch Party Series in the beautifully refurbished Midori Garden, setting the tone for a season filled with high-octane excitement. The series debuted with a live viewing of the Bahrain Grand Prix, delivering an unparalleled experience for motorsport fans in Nairobi.The event, hosted in collaboration with The Wheelspin Podcast, drew an eclectic crowd of media personalities, influencers, motorsport enthusiasts, and F1 devotees. Leading from lights out to the checkered flag, Piastri finished 15 seconds ahead of George Russell of Mercedes, despite a mid-race Safety Car that wiped out his initial seven-second lead.Lando Norris, Piastri’s teammate and current championship leader, made a late surge to snatch a podium finish, overtaking Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in the closing laps. Norris’ third-place finish kept him narrowly ahead in the standings, holding a slim three-point lead over Piastri.
