A lawmaker representing Iwajowa State Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Anthony Ogunsola, has distributed 5,000 exercise books and bags to both government and private primary/secondary school students in his constituency.

“I have not forgotten the pledges I made to my constituents, and I am committed to delivering on them.

“I am dedicated to the development of education and other projects that will improve the lives of our people as the foundation of my representation, with a promise not to fail you.”

The council chairman, Muritala Oyewumi, commended Ogunsola for his contribution to education and urged other public office holders to follow suit.

“This is a significant step towards making Iwajowa a council area we can all be proud of,” Oyewumi stated.

Ogunsola’s initiative has garnered praise from various stakeholders, including the PDP Chairman, Wasiu Fasola, the Iwajowa LG NUT Chairman, Taiwo Adeegbe, and the ANCOPSS Chairman, represented by Mr. Ojuwoni Musibau.

The immediate past Iwajowa LG Chairman, Abdul Jeleel Oyinloye, also praised Ogunsola’s intervention in education development of the area.

The immediate past council chairman, Abdul Jelili Oyinloye assisted in the distribution of educational materials.“Ogunsola, having served in various educational positions— from being a teacher, supervisory councillor for education, NUT Iwajowa branch chairman, to a lawmaker— has a special passion for educational activities.

“This gesture also symbolises his love and readiness to support education from the elementary level, which serves as the bedrock for higher education,” Oyinloye said.
