Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen marked his 26th birthday on Sunday and it seems the red-hot Galatasaray man got himself a birthday present, a green Lamborghini Urus, which was also blessed for former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

In a video that surfaced on Sunday, Martins was seen praying for Osimhen in front of the vehicle and the former Inter Milan man took a shot from a sipping glass before passing it to Osimhen who also consumed what was left in the sipping glass.

Sipping over a newly acquired car or property is a common tradition in Nigeria.

The Lamborghini Urus is said to be the first super sport utility vehicle in the world and it sells between $237,848 and $269,885 which is between N371,994,272 and N422m as at Sunday’s exchange rate.

Meanwhile, Osimhen’s 26th birthday was widely celebrated in the world of football with the official X handle of the Super Eagles leading the way for the country’s joint second all-time highest goal scorer.

“Happy birthday to immediate past Africa Player Of The Year, Victor James Osimhen. We wish you all the best today and always Vic,” the post read.

The 2023 CAF Player of The Year was also celebrated by the continental body.

“Wishing the happiest of birthdays to Victor Osimhen. Many happy returns.”

Osimhen featured for French club Lille between 2019 and 2020, where he scored 13 goals in 27 appearances and he was still celebrated on the official Ligue 1 handle.

“Happy birthday to the King Victor Osimhen,” they wrote on X.

His parent club Napoli also shared a birthday wish for the striker with a design, just as Galatasaray also posted his picture.

“Today is our football player Victor Osimhen’s birthday! Happy birthday,” Galatasaray wrote.

Currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, the Nigerian is currently enjoying life in Turkey with 12 goals plus four assists in 15 games across all competitions.
