Kenya vaccinates more than 2M people against COVID-19

Kenya’s health ministry on Monday announced that it has vaccinated a total of 2,053,717 people.

Of these vaccine doses, 1,305,850 are first doses while 747,867 are second doses.

The ministry also announced that a total of 679 people had tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday raising the total number of COVID-19 cases to 221,406.

Data released on Monday shows that a total of 203,922 patients had recovered while the number of fatalities rose to 4,350.
