S
o far, Awards season has been an outlet for exhibitions to unravel the sartorial alchemy of designers. We’ve seen celebrities take on style risks, while some redefine their style for a new season. Contemporary and timeless characteristics have been fused into relevant ensembles that speak louder than Sinai’s trumpet sound. The BAFTA tea party, Emmys, Golden Globes, and numerous events keyed into January packed the month with so many fabulous renderings that our timelines are spoiled for choice. No sleeping on the couch is allowed this weekend with these celeb offerings that are sure to take you through your weekend in stylish bliss.

This weekend, recreate at least one celebrity outfit for undeniable slay…
#1. Rosamund Pike

Everything about this look on Rosamund Pike preaches subtle elegance. From the rose-detailed tulle dress to her chic sandals and understated jewelry, the easy sophistication the look evokes is one for the books. Rock this to a tea party and speak volumes without uttering a word.

#2. Ryan Destiny

Sheer, red, high-slit — that’s a femme fatale link-up. Ryan Destiny was a sight in a red Attico offering injected with a stacked Swarovski neckpiece to complement her shimmering Amina Muaddi heels. The dress featured a button-down shirt top-half that she wore unbuttoned, revealing enough skin to tease. Sport to an indoor birthday party to paint the event red.
#3. Zoe Lister-Jones

Bows have been a significant accessory driving the hyper-femininity style movement. They’re girly and stylish additions to any well-curated outfit. At the BAFTA tea party, Zoe Lister-Jones wore a snappy Rebecca Vallance polka dot dress with three white bows on the bodice. You can style this celebrity outfit with a snatched ponytail when heading to a cocktail party.
#4. Kailey Cuoco

It’s not every day you see a maxi shirt dress that ticks the red carpet box — that’s the magic of Carolina Herrera. Kailey Cuoco attended the Fore Play premiere, glowing in a Carolina Herrera striped shirt dress draped at the waist with a bold rosette. The unexpected train injected fun into the androgynous ensemble. Do you have a book launch to attend this weekend? Slide into a classy shirt dress.
#5. America Ferrera

A chic black dress spliced with pink shades is the way to slay the carpet. America Ferrera was spotted in one such offering by Simone with a hand-draped taffeta bow that dropped gracefully at her side at the BAFTA tea party. Sport this to a civil wedding to stand out without upstaging the bride.

#6. Janelle James

The best wedding guest gowns are sometimes heightened through their simple cuts and choice of hues. Janelle James wore a sleek red Rodarte number with velvet bows on the shoulder to the Emmys that underscored the elegance in simplicity. Her embellished clutch and upbeat jewelry were the perfect supporting cast for the showstopper. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t recreate this as a wedding guest this weekend.
#7. Rachel Brosnahan

Black is a color you never have enough of. For the Golden Globes after-party, Rachel Brosnahan donned a black, draped, David Koma mini number. It flaunted a unique floral embellished cut-out on the side and her red lipstick punched up the look. This look works for any evening party. Sign me up ASAP.
#8. Danielle Brooks

For the Astras Award, Danielle Brooks stepped out in a Fhiona Ellis suit with tulle details on the blazer. The actress styled the offering with an embellished purse and sheer sandals for maximum impact. Plus, her sleek face beat and auburn side part hairstyle sealed the deal nicely. This look will certainly turn heads at a midday networking event.
#9. Jasmine Jobson

Leave the entire tweed fabric for Chanel — that’s their forte. Whether a bag, jacket, or dress, tweed adds a luxe spin that Chanel knows how to work. Jasmine Josbin graced a Chanel front row in the brand’s tweed dress that resembled a blazer and asymmetric skirt. She paired this with a black coat, matching purse, boots, and elegant jewelry that served a solid ten across boards. Wear this celebrity outfit to an investment meeting and have the shareholders straightened out in an investing mood.
#10. America Ferrera

Simple and classy is a fashionable match made in heaven. Opt for a sleeveless leather dress with matching sandals and style with a fancy necklace. The combo is always on fire. At the Afia Awards luncheon red carpet, America Ferrera took this advice, strutting in a Monique Lhuillier black dress that was simple but in no way boring. This is the perfect celebrity outfit for an evening at a new luxury product launch event.
