MARK NOLTING’S SAFARI TO ZIMBABWE

Happy Friday Everyone from Zimbabwe! After two days in Hwange National Park, you could say AAC President Mark Nolting is definitely happy!

Mark has been enjoying the hospitality of Sharon & Phil Stead, owners of Khulu Bush Camp, and the company of the elephants at one of the park’s many waterholes!

KHULU BUSH CAMP- UPDATE!

Yesterday was Mark’s last day at Khulu Bush Camp. Along with spending time with Sharon Stead (on the left), he also spent time with Jane Hunt (second from the right). Jane, who has been conducting lion research in Hwange National Park for many years now, was a great safari companion and a terrific font of knowledge.Today, Mark will be joining private guide Dave Carsons (on the right) to lead our clients on AAC’s “Eyes on Elephant Group Safari”!

MARK NOLTING’S ZIMBABWE SAFARI – CAMP HWANGE

Mark, Barbara, Bill and their private guide Dave Carsons have had an awesome 4 nights at Camp Hwange! Take a look through the photos to see what they were up to!

(R) Bill and private guide Dave Carsons observing a herd of elephants drinking from a waterhole

(L) Two sister lionesses drinking. Dave affectionately calls them the “supermodels.”
(R) The group had an excellent sighting of a serval hunting, and catching, a field mouse.

(L) When these holes are filled with water, elephants nimbly climb up these granite outcrops to drink. (R) Beautiful sunset in Hwange.

The “Eyes on Elephant” group enjoying an excellent dinner in camp. All of the camp’s staff have been vaccinated.
