Colour plays an important role when it comes to fashion and styling. From warm colours like yellow to colours that speak growth like green to colours of energy like orange and stylish colours like pink, they played vital roles in our day to day and weekly looks.
And while these colours are cool and vibrant, they can sometimes be difficult to combine. You don’t want to pop out at an event looking like a rainbow or a set of watercolours from your primary school drawing book.
Mixing colours is fun and exciting when done correctly. It simply boosts your mood and makes you feel more confident. The idea here creates a unique statement aesthetic.
Scroll further as you see 5 colour combos you should try this month.
Blue and Green

@tokemakinwa
Styling blue and green can be scary. People often go for an extreme contrast of color palettes or colours that are similar. But with blue and green, it is neither here nor there, it is somewhere in the middle because even though they originate from the same color family, the still are very different and both very big statements.
When done correctly, you don’t need neutral colours like grey, cream, brown, black, and white to complement the look. You can step up it your accessories (earrings, necklace, bracelets and wristwatch).
Purple and Pink

Purple and pinks are colours that you don’t expect to see together but are perfect for pairing. There are numerous shades of both colours, which make them easy to combine. Dark pinks do have strong feelings, while pale pinks are calming and cheerful. It’s a great choice and debating on what to wear.

Blue and Pink

Styling and colour combos become more interesting when Blue and Pink are involved. Most females like pink and most males like blue. It’s easy to pull this off when one of the colours is pale or dark. Blue and pink compliment each other so well.

Orange and Yellow

@hermillennialcloset
Ever wonder which colour is best to use with yellow? Orange is the answer! They sit next to other on the colour wheel and share a lot of the same chromic DNA so naturally, they compliment each other well! Together they create a really warm look, but it works best if you play with shades. So, if you have a strong orange, pair it with a pastel yellow to keep it interesting! A pastel yellow with a pop of orange will make it complementary yet contrasting in the best way.
